Essay Requirements:
Applicants must submit an essay (500 words or less) on what snowmobiling means to them or the impact of snowmobiling in their state (economy, trails, environment).

Eligibility:
Graduating high school seniors accepted at a college, junior college, or vocational school are eligible to apply. The student's parents, or the student (if over 18), must be members in good standing of the Shawnee Sno-Chiefs as of January 1st of the application year. Application Checklist:

All materials must be received by the Shawnee Sno-Chiefs by February 15th as a single package. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.

Notification:
The top applicant will be notified by the President of the Shawnee Sno-Chiefs. Essays may be published in full or in part, along with the applicant’s photo, for the promotion of snowmobiling in any of our publications or websites. By signing and submitting the application, you agree to these terms.

If Selected:
You must provide a copy of your report card/transcript after completing your first semester to the Shawnee Sno-Chiefs Snowmobile Club by January 31st of the following year. A quantitative GPA of 2.0 or higher is required to receive any scholarship payment.

Confidentiality:

All application materials are considered confidential and will only be examined for their intended purpose. They will become the property of the Shawnee Sno-Chiefs.
